Our students have been super busy in the first few weeks of school.
They have been learning about our school values – to be respectful, responsible, kind and safe. They discussed how their choices support them as learners and how we work together to make Oscar Romero a great place to learn. Students have also started to think about their own learning goals and what they would like to work on as learners this year.
This term we have linked our learning to the scripture story of the mustard seed – the smallest of all seeds that when nurtured, grows to be strong and the best it can be. This is what we want for all our students.
This week also marked the beginning of the season of Lent and we have a purple cloth on our prayer tables to remind us that this is a time of reflection and preparation for Easter.
