Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School we are here to support you as you take this next step in your child’s educational journey.
Children must turn five years of age by 30 April in the year they commence school. We understand that deciding when your child is ready to start school is an important choice and we strongly encourage you to discuss this with your child’s kindergarten or daycare educator before submitting an application.
Enrolment applications are accepted during the year prior to commencement.
Enrolments for Prep 2027 will open on 2nd March 2026 and close on 3rd April 2026. Interviews will be conducted in late May and June, with offers of enrolment made in August.
Families can pick up an enrolment pack from the school or download and fill out the enrolment forms found here and follow the outlined process.

- Return the completed enrolment forms to Oscar Romero with the required documentation to:

In Person: 1 MacKillop Street, Craigieburn - Include a $50 non-refundable deposit with application form (for new families ONLY)
- All applications made will be required to attend an interview in May or early June.
- Offers for 2027 will be made from August.
A $100 deposit will be required to confirm the acceptance of an offer for new families only.
Priority for enrolment is given to Catholic children from families residing within the school’s catchment zone. To check your zone visit https://maplite.cecv.catholic.edu.au/
Non-Catholic children living within the catchment zone may be considered for enrolment at the discretion of the Principal. For further information, including the full order of priority for enrolment in MACS schools, please refer to the Enrolment Policy listed below.
