Prep Enrolments for 2028
Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, we look forward to welcoming new families and supporting you as you take this exciting next step in your child’s educational journey.
We encourage families considering enrolling their child in Prep for 2028 to attend one of our school tours in 2027. This is a wonderful opportunity to see our school in action, explore our learning environments and learn more about our approach to teaching, learning and student wellbeing.
2027 School Tour Dates
We are pleased to offer the following school tours for families considering enrolment in 2028:
- Friday 5th February 2027: 9:30am – 10:30am
- Wednesday 10th February 2027: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
- Tuesday 16th February 2027: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
- Wednesday 24th February 2027: 9:30am – 10:30am
- Monday 1st March 2027: 9:30am – 10:30am
- Thursday 11th March 2027: 9:30am – 10:30am
Bookings for our 2027 school tours will open in December 2026. We encourage families to return to this page to secure their preferred tour date.
All tours commence at the school’s front reception, located at 1 MacKillop Street, Craigieburn.
Prep Enrolments for 2027
Applications for Prep 2027 have now closed.
Families who are still interested in enrolling their child for Prep in 2027 are encouraged to contact our school office directly to discuss their circumstances and enquire about availability.

Prep Enrolments for 2028
Children must turn five years of age by 30 April 2028 to be eligible to commence Prep in 2028.
We understand that deciding when your child is ready to begin school is an important decision. We strongly encourage families to discuss their child’s school readiness with their kindergarten or daycare educator before submitting an application.
Enrolment applications are accepted during the year prior to commencement.
Applications for Prep 2028 will open in 2027. Further information regarding enrolment dates, interviews and offers will be communicated closer to the application period.
How to Apply
Families can collect an enrolment pack from the school office or download the enrolment forms available below.
To apply for enrolment:
- Complete the enrolment application forms available below.
- Return the completed forms with all required supporting documentation to Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School using one of the following options:Postal Address: PO Box 481, Craigieburn VIC 3064
Email: enrolments@oscarromero.catholic.edu.au
In Person: 1 MacKillop Street, Craigieburn - Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.
- Families who submit an application will be invited to attend an enrolment interview in May or early June.
- Offers of enrolment will be made from August 2027.
A $100 deposit will be required to confirm acceptance of an enrolment offer for new families only.
Enrolment Priority
Priority for enrolment is given to Catholic children from families residing within the school’s designated catchment zone.
Families can check whether their residential address falls within our school zone by visiting the Catholic Education Victoria school zone map:

Non-Catholic children residing within the catchment zone may also be considered for enrolment at the discretion of the Principal.
