As the newly appointed Principal of Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and the chance to partner with the community to create something special. Guided by the spirit of St Oscar Romero and our call to “aspire not to have more but to be more,” we are shaping a community where learning brings hope and where God’s presence is seen in the way we learn, serve and care for one another.
My vision is to lead a school where every child is known, supported and challenged to reach their full potential, and where every community member feels that same sense of belonging and purpose. At the heart of our work is the belief that each child is created in the image of God and called to flourish spiritually, academically, physically, socially and emotionally. When students understand their worth, they are better placed to contribute to a more peaceful and just world.
I see the role of Principal as both a privilege and a responsibility: to nurture a community grounded in faith, learning and care, where everyone can flourish. I feel privileged to have this opportunity and thank you for entrusting your precious children into our care. I know together we can do great things.
